Actor Ryan Reynolds made a comment about the Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige that Deadpool 3 will join Marvel Cinematic Universe as an R-Rated movie on his Twitter account.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently made a promising update on Deadpool 3, confirming when filming will begin and most importantly, it will be part of the sequel MCU. It also announced that the film will be released as an r-rated film.
Here’s what Kevin Feige said:
“It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan [Reynolds is] overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor.
We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”
On Twitter, Ryan Reynolds also made a funny update following the statement of Marvel Studios President and said that he showed Feige Spiderman 1 and 2. Then, he told them it was Deadpool 1 and 2.
Here’s what Ryan Reynolds tweeted:
“Full disclosure: I showed them Spiderman 1 & 2 and told them it was Deadpool 1 & 2. #Deadpool3”
While Marvel is in the middle of filming for Thor 4 and Spider-Man 3, this year will also begin filming Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, and Captain Marvel 2. So Deadpool 3 is not expected to start shooting until 2022. So the movie will probably not be in theaters until 2023 at the earliest.
