Sacha Baron Cohen Feels Grateful After Donald Trump Has Banned From The Huge Social Media Platforms

Borat 2 star Sacha Baron Cohen made a new statement on his verified Twitter account and thanked everyone who banned President Donald Trump from huge social media platforms, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Last Wednesday, Trump supporters carried out an attack on the US Capitol building in Washington to protest the result of the 2020 elections.

Trump’s provocative tweets and posts on social media were allegedly the main reason for the capture of the US Capitol building by Trump supporters.

A few days ago, Sacha Baron Cohen called on the CEOs of Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and Google to suspend Donald Trump’s social media accounts.

Mark Zuckerberg announced yesterday that Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts were restricted. Today, Twitter has permanently suspended Donald Trump’s account.

Following this news, Sacha Baron Cohen made a statement on Twitter and defined Trump’s removal from social media as a historic moment. He said that the world’s largest platforms have banned the world’s largest supplier of lies, conspiracies, and hate. He also thanked the Facebook and Twitter staff working for it.

Here’s what Sacha Baron Cohen said:

“This is the most important moment in the history of social media.

The world’s largest platforms have banned the world’s biggest purveyor of lies, conspiracies, and hate.

To every Facebook and Twitter employee, user, and advocate who fought for this–the entire world thanks you!”
