Sacha Baron Cohen Says ‘We’re Humbled’ After Finding Out His Nomination For Writers Guild Awards

Actor Sacha Baron Cohen updated his Twitter page and revealed what he thinks about his nomination for Writer Guild Awards.

As we all know, Borat 2 is the sequel to the first Borat movie and was released in 2006, and again Sacha Baron Cohen brings Borat to life. In the new film, Borat intends to destroy America; this time presided over by Donald Trump.

The films nominated by the Writers Guild of America on Tuesday was ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.’ Besides, The Trial of the Chicago 7,’ ‘One Night in Miami,’ ‘Judas and the Black Messiah,’ ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.’

Following the nominations, Sacha Baron Cohen took to Twitter and shared thoughts about the great milestone for his movie. In the tweet, he thanked the Writers Guild of America for the nomination.

He continued and said he and his crew were humbled among the legendary movies such as Lord of the Rings, The Pink Panther, The Godfather.

Here’s what Sacha Baron Cohen said:

“Huge thanks to the Writers Guild for the nomination of BORAT SUBSEQUENT MOVIEFILM and to my incredible co-writers. We’re humbled to be among giants — Lord of the Rings, The Pink Panther, The Godfather — in being recognized for original screenplay and the sequel.”
