One of the iconic Chicago Bull basketball players, Scottie Pippen, has shared a throwback picture of himself with his close friend and also former NBA player, Cliff Robinson, and described his feelings about the unexpected death of the former Blazers’ legend.
On August 29, Cliff Robinson, NBA All-Star who played with the Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns, has died at the age of 53. Robinson’s cause of death is unknown at this time.
After the timeless death of him, most of his fans and friends shared a lot of messages or photos to pay their tribute to the legend on their social media accounts.
One of them was Scottie Pippen. He shared a rare throwback pic that is taken when the couple smiled at each other during the playoff match between the Bulls and Blazers.
In the caption of this post, Scottie penned down a heartbreaking note to pay tribute to him and explained his feelings:
“I’m heartbroken to look back at this moment.
Cliff Robinson was so important to his #Blazers teams, and I always enjoyed competing against him. Another brother who left us long before his time.
You’ll be missed, Uncle Cliffy. RIP @unclecliffy30.”
