Selena Gomez Premieres New Music Video For ‘Rare’ From Her New Album

World-famous American singer and actress, Selena Gomez, has shared a surprise music video for ‘Rare’ via her verified and official Youtube channel.

The 27-years old singer kicked off her Rare era last night by releasing her album, and she wasn’t finished sharing new content. The new album has 13 interesting songs. You can see the tracklist of Rare below.

1. “Rare”
2. “Dance Again”
3. “Look at Her Now”
4. “Lose You to Love Me”
5. “Ring”
6. “Vulnerable”
7. “People You Know”
8. “Let Me Get Me”
9. “Crowded Room” feat. 6LACK
10. “Kinda Crazy”
11. “Fun”
12. “Cut You Off”
13. “A Sweeter Place” feat. Kid Cudi

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Gomez said of her newfound process:

“I think the past few years, or, hell, decade if you want, I think I was really kind of hurting, and I think that prevented me from doing a lot more, creatively or even content-wise, of what I wanted to say.

I’m interested, and I was in the studio last night. I was like, “I actually just kind of want to keep going,” which I never do. Now I get to have more say, too, when it comes to even putting the music together.

I was always so scared to speak up with producers. Now I know most of them so well that I just give them shit, and I’m always just like, “Well, I don’t’… I’ve never done that, really, before, to have a conversation. It was an important experience for me.”

Today, Selena Gomez has shared a new music video for the new album’s first song called ‘Rare.’ The video was directed by BRTHR, the Brooklyn-based film production duo responsible for the brooding, cinematic visuals for The Weeknd’s “In The Night” and Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps.”
