The highly anticipated sequel of Borat, the comedy that received high box office in the year Sacha Baron Cohen was shown but received criticism, was released to the audience on October 23rd on Amazon Prime.
Borat 2 is the sequel to the 2006 film, whose full name is ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’, but simply called ‘Borat’. Sacha Baron Cohen gave life to the role of Borat in the movie, which will be briefly referred to as ‘Borat 2’.
One of the purposes of Borat 2, which has been secretly shot in recent months and will be shown on Amazon Prime, is to be published before the US presidential election on November 3. Because it is thought that the political messages given in the film will affect the audience.
Canadian comedian Seth Rogen was one of the people who watched the movie on Amazon Prime. After watching Borat 2, Seth shared a post on his Twitter account to share his thoughts on Sacha and the movie. He also shared a story, telling the time of his Da Ali G Show when he was 22 years old.
Rogen said he was hired by Sacha, at the age of 22, to write the Da Ali G Show, saying that the Borat star has been an incredible inspiration for him ever since. In this way, the 38-year-old comedian showed his admiration for Sacha Baron Cohen.
Here’s what he said:
“I’m excited for you all to see #Borat2 Sacha hired me to write on Da Ali G Show when I was 22 years old and has been an incredible inspiration to me ever since. He’s the only person I know who truly risks his life for his art, and we’re all better off for it.”
