Sia Goes Crazy After The Criticism She Received For The Movie ‘Music’ And Shocked Everyone With Her Reactions

Grammy-winning singer Sia has always been a remarkable musician with her unique voice and distinctive image, but now she is not only a musician but also a film scriptwriter and director.

Sia shot her first feature film which she named ‘Music‘ co-written with Dallas Clayton. The lead roles of the film are Maddie Ziegler, who has been leading the music videos of Sia for years, and the famous actress Kate Hudson.

The film is planned to be released in February 2021, and the album consisting of songs written by Sia for the movie also will be released in 2021.

The movie’s trailer was released recently but faced unexpected criticism because of its content and many people were surprised by the famous singer’s reaction on her Twitter account.

The film’s plot focuses on an autistic teenage girl whose name is Music and her perception of the world. After the trailer was released, a follower asked her why a real autistic actor did not play the role instead of Maddie.

As people began to express their disappointment one after another, Sia went mad at the reaction and said that she found it wrong to make so many comments without watching the movie.

Sia stated that she did a lot of research but because the set was difficult and stressful for an autistic person, she chose Maddie. Sia explained that the movie is like a love letter addressing both caregivers and the autism community.

Adding to her words that she tried to reflect her own perspective on this community, the singer said that she made this movie because she did not think that the subject was expressed sufficiently, but after the criticism that continued to come, she could not control her nerves.

Here are some of her sensational tweets:

“The movie is both a love letter to caregivers and to the autism community. I have my own unique view of the community, and felt it is underrepresented and compelled to make it. If that makes me a shit I’m a shit, but my intentions are awesome.”

“I’m so sad and confused that you think I didn’t research and utilize my friends on the spectrum! So many assumptions. I hope you love the film. It’s beautiful.”

“I’m so confused. The character is based completely on my neuro atypical friend. He found it too stressful being non verbal, and I made this movie with nothing but love for him and his mother.”

“I cast thirteen neuroatypical people, three trans folk, and not as fucking prostitutes or drug addicts but s as doctors, nurses and singers. Fucking sad nobody’s even seen the dang movie. My heart has always been in the right place”

“Duh. I spent three fucking years researching, I think that’s why I’m so fucking bummed.”

“Grrrrrrrrrr. Fuckity fuck why don’t you watch my film before you judge it? FURY.”
