Golden State Warriors basketball player Stephen Curry has updated his Instagram feed after he passed one of the NBA legend Reggie Miller for second-most career 3-pointers.

In the NBA, the Utah Jazz beat the Golden State Warriors 127-108 on the field, making their streak in 8 matches. However, the shape shooter of the Golden State Warriors increased the number of 3-pointers in his career to 2562. The 32-year-old basketball player surpassed Reggie Miller (2560) to become the number 2 for second-most career 3-pointers in NBA history.

Following the game, Stephen Curry took Instagram to share his thoughts on the new milestone that he made and penned a thankful message to everyone who always supports him.

Curry said Miller was his favorite basketball shooter when he was growing up. It showed that some of the moves he made to NBA history were inspiring for him. He also said that the holder of the record, Ray Allen, was closer to his record.

Here’s what Stephen Curry said:

Thankful for the moments man! @reggiemillertnt was my FAVORITE growing up. He made shooting, extending your range, and moving without the ball look like fun to me. Had to throw the #31 up tonight moving up the list. Much Respect my man… More to come to catch Ray. Praise God! #shootersshoot”
