American author of horror novels Stephen King left his own thoughts after seeing former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made the playoff with his new team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in NFL.
Tom Brady’s agreement with the Patriots came to a surprising end last month when he announced that he had decided to leave the Patriots after two successful decades and sign a contract with Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After this deal, most people believed that the 43-year-old quarterback would no longer be successful. However, Brady seems to have left all these negative comments behind.
However, Stephen King has a comment about this issue. The 73-year-old author took to Twitter to say Tom Brady was all washed up in Patriots and it’s a good thing the Pats got rid of him. But, King saw an unnoticed detail.
The Patriots, who lost Brady this summer, did not make it into the playoffs, but Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play 2nd in the NFC South game against Washington Football Team tomorrow. King made some fun with the Patriots fans about it.
Here’s what Stephen King said:
“It’s a good thing the Pats got rid of Tom Brady; he was all washed up. Oh, wait! The Pats are playing golf and Tom’s in the playoffs! Go, Bucs”
