Suicide Squad Director David Ayer Thrills Fans After Sharing His Thoughts About Jared Leto’s ‘Joker’ In Ayer Cut

Suicide Squad director David Ayer thrilled fans after sharing his thoughts about Jared Leto’s ‘Joker’ in the Ayer Cut Of Suicide Squad on his verified Twitter account.

When the movie Suicide Squad was released in 2016, it received many positive and negative reviews. The reason for this is that Warner Bros cut some scenes of the movie and made changes to the movie. The main reason Warner Bros did this was because they thought Ayer’s version was depressing.

But after the cut scenes of Justice Leauge director Zack Snyder were announced to air on HBO Max in 2021, David Ayer and fans launched a #ReleaseTheAyerCut campaign on social media. Finally, David Ayer announced that the movie exists and will be released.

Also, as we all know, the Joker character played by Jared Leto in the movie released in 2016 was rather pale. David Ayer started to give some tips about Jared Leto’s Joker.

The 52-year-old director described Joker as ‘vastly better’ after a Twitter user said he knew about Jared Leto’s character better than the 2016 movie.

Here’s the conversation below.

The Twitter user wrote:

“I know Jared Leto was better than the theatrical cut of suicide squad, I just want to see it.”

David Ayer said:

“Vastly better.”
