Sylvester Stallone Reveals How He Hired Mr. T As He Unearths A Very Rare BTS Photo From Rocky 3 Set

Iconic Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has unearthed a very behind-the-scenes photo from the Rocky 3 set on his certified Instagram page and revealed how he hired Mr. T to the cast of the movie.

The 1982 movie Rocky 3 depicts Rocky Balboa’s fight against Clubber Lang. Clubber Lang, on the other hand, is played by the famous actor Lawrence Tureaud aka Mr. T.

On Saturday, Sylvester Stallone posted a photo of him with the late legendary professional boxer Joe Frazier. In the picture, Sly, who had received a few solid punches from Fraizer, looked dizzy and his eyebrow was bleeding.

The 74-year-old actor said he auditioned Joe Frazier for the role before hiring Mr. T. However, he said that during the 30 seconds he spent in the ring with Fraizer, he had a hard time, so he decided to work with Mr. T, who could not punch as hard as Fraizer for this role.

Here’s what Sylvester Stallone captioned:

“Very rare behind-the-scenes flashback. Before I hired Mr. T I auditioned Smokin’ Joe Fraser for the part. After about 30 seconds in the ring I had five stitches. So I decided on Mr. T who was perfect for the part and didn’t punch quite as hard!!!”

Sylvester also reacted to an Instagram user who wanted to know which one hit harder between Joe Frazier and Dolph Lundgren.

“Really?”
