Sylvester Stallone Says ‘This Film Was Poorly Executed’ As He Recalls His Insane Effort For It

One of Holywood’s best action stars, Sylvester Stallone takes a short trip into the past and explains what he thinks of one of the movies he starred in as he shared a post on his Instagram page.

Sylvester Stallone played a Formula 1 racer in the 2001 action sports movie ‘Driven.’ The movie was directed by Renny Harlin and Stallone trained with very fast F1 cars for this movie.

However, the movie did not live up to expectations and had a fairly low revenue at the box office. The film, which was shot for $92 million, earned only $54.7 million at the box office.

Stallone shared his disappointment in his post on Instagram and shared detail on why the film failed. Stating that he was training on vehicles reaching a speed of 190 km, Stallone the 74-year-old actor said that the film was poorly executed.

After the movie, Driven, shot in 2001, the respected actor shot Rocky Balboa in 2006, 16 years after the Rocky V movie. His unfortunate experience seems to have pushed Sylvester Stallone back into the movie Rocky.

Here’s what he said:

“Training at 190 MPH for a film I did , sadly it was poorly Executed…. Life really is undeclared race against time. Keep punching, Sly.”

Fans and followers also headed to the comment section and shared their thoughts about his film.

A user commented:

“It wasn’t that bad! “Drive cause you love it , drive for pure victory.”

A fan wrote:

“Driven was freaking awesome.”
