T.I. Explains Why He Speaks On The Incident Between Megan Thee Stallion And Tory Lanez

This past July, Megan Thee Stallion made accusations that Canadian rapper Tory Lanez shot her in the foot after a fight. One of the names who spoke about this incident was the famous rapper T.I.

So what happened between Megan and Tory?

Claiming that she was shot from the car’s back window, Stallion made the incident heard by everyone with her posts on Instagram. ‘You shot me,’ she said, targeting Lanez during a live video.

After all these allegations, there were many rumours about the incident due to the lack of a clear explanation about it. Continuing her statements on social media, Stallion said that she was shot in both feet, her surgery was the worst thing that had happened in her life, and that the bullets had to be removed from there.

While Lanez never responded to the allegations for a while, he recently returned to social media with a new album titled ‘Daystar,’ in which he responds to the allegations of Megan Thee Stallion by dissing harshly.

Hip-hop artist, T.I., did not hide his thoughts on this incident and said that Lanez owed a statement to his fans and everyone who loved him. When asked why he chose to comment on this issue, he said he thought Black women were very vulnerable and that they should be protected in every way.

Here’s what he said:

“To be honest with you, I feel like Black women are the most attacked, least protected, least defended, most vulnerable, and most exposed species on this Earth. I don’t know what the fuck happened. I know what she says happened, but I don’t know why it happened. But I know if it did happen, that’s everybody’s responsibility to make sure that this young lady feels supported and that she knows that the community and the culture is behind her.”

He continued:

“I think that’s important. I think that’s all of our obligation and responsibilities, not even as artists, or as rappers, or as executives in this business, but as men, as a Black man. We can’t allow nobody, myself included, to be out here goddamn letting off shots at women in bikinis. Now, I just have a problem with that. “
