Taylor Swift Finally Returns To Her Musical Roots By Singing Her New Song ‘Betty’ Live

Taylor Swift, who started her music career in country music, composed many successful songs, but over time, her music style shifted towards pop music and she progressed in this field.

At the 2020 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, Taylor Swift whose songs, style, and clips are loved by her fans, was able to surprise not only her fans this time but everyone who watched her live. She performed her new song ‘Betty’ from her new album ‘Folklore’ live for the first time. She hasn’t been heard singing a country song for a long time.

Her performance was at the famous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. She came to the stage with her acoustic guitar and harmonica. Unlike her flamboyant live performances, she was alone on the stage with her song and beautiful voice.

ACM Award Twitter account also shared this tweet and supported Taylor Swift’s return. Check out the tweet right below.

The last time Taylor Swift sang at the ACM award ceremony was 7 years ago, in 2013. Swift won nine ACM awards in her career and has twice been chosen as the Entertainer of The Year.
