Christopher Nolan, who directed films such as Inception, Dunkirk, and Interstellar, goes viral again, proving how well he knew the actors and actresses he worked with through his directing career.
Apparently, The Batman movie is obviously a bigger project for Pattinson than Tenet because he will take over the role of Bruce Wayne from Ben Affleck in the film directed by Matt Reeves.
Essential details of The Batman movie have been shared before, and it is clear which actors will play characters such as Riddler (Paul Dano), the Penguin (Colin Farrell), and Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz). Still, essential parts of the Tenet movie are not yet known. For this reason, Batman stands out a little more than Tenet.
However, one of the witnesses to this feature of Christopher Nolan is Robert Pattinson, one of the leading roles in the upcoming movie, Tenet. In a recent interview with ‘The Irish Times,’ The Batman actor admitted that he lied to Tenet director about auditioning for the DC Extended Universe movie.
Pattinson said that he had to lie to Nolan about his screen test of The Batman, but the director had caught the actor’s lie.
Here’s what Robert Pattinson said:
“It’s funny because Chris is so secretive about everything to do with his movies. And then I had to be really secretive about Batman stuff. So I had to lie to Chris about having to go for a screen test – I said I had a family emergency. And as soon as I said ‘it’s a family emergency’ he said: ‘You’re doing the Batman addition, aren’t you?'”
