In the light of this information, Jim Parsons, who portrayed the character of Sheldon Cooper, did not want to come back for the 13th season and decided to leave the series, saying he did everything he could for the series.
Other actors of the series, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, were shocked by Parsons’ decision because the series was very popular and successful.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Bialik talked about the ending of The Big Band Theory and the reasons behind Parsons’ decision. The actress said that there were actually different reasons, but the public would never know these reasons.
Here’s what Mayim Bialik said:
“The way that I described the show ending was there are a lot of factors that the public doesn’t get to know about, about what goes into the decisions behind why a show doesn’t continue.”
“I think, as someone who was grateful to work alongside Jim and eager to see the rest of what all of our lives held for us, I think there was a general feeling like it was time for us to move into something different.”
Everyone thought that Jim Parsons’ decision to leave the series was behind the end of Big Bang Theory, but after Bialik’s statement, everyone was shocked and it turned out that there were other reasons. Now everyone is trying to guess what kind of problem is going on between CBS and the cast of the show.
