Kristen Bell’s Fans Draw Attention That Not Only Women But All The People Are Affected By The Pandemic

Actress Kristen Bell, who is known best for her role in the ‘Good Place‘ series, wanted to raise awareness about the downsides of the pandemic on the workforce of women and shared a way to help them on her Instagram account.

On Wednesday, Kristen Bell took Instagram to encourage people to support an organization that helps women around the world to achieve financial independence. She stated that according to the numbers, especially women of color lost their jobs and incomes.

In her caption, Bell described how the organization that she mentioned helps women by donating good outfits to make them embark on new journeys, nail the job interviews, and take that next step.

Here’s the caption:

“As of September, 800,000 women left the workforce and 140,000 more jobs were cut in December— This pandemic has disproportionately affected women, especially women of color.

As a @renttherunway member, I’m proud to support their partnership with @dressforsuccess , an organization that helps women around the world achieve financial independence. Dress for Success believes a good outfit leads to confidence which sets women up to achieve their goals.

Together, we donated styles totalling an original retail value of $250K helping women as they embark on new journeys, nail the job interviews and take that next step. Visit @dressforsuccess dressforsuccess to see how you can support.”

Although Kristen Bell’s intention was good, her post received some comments which criticized her about helping only women because they stated that all the people suffered from the pandemic.

One of the followers wrote:

“And 900,000 men also lost there jobs. Not just about the women, everyone needs help”

Another agreed with Bell and wrote that she lost her job to look at her kids:

“I know. I am one of them. I want to school for 8 years to be a pharmacist and I had to walk away from it all to homeschool my children. It is so sad. I feel so much sadness.”

Another follower wrote:

“All us normal people are dealing with this. Male and female. Time to leave your bubble.”
