The widow of late Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, Vanessa Bryant, has continued to make new statements about her husband.
As you can remember that Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant died in the helicopter crash on January 26. Everyone who lives in the world has shocked after this sad and unexpected event.
On Saturday, Kobe Bryant was selected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He’ll be inducted on Aug. 29 in a ceremony that will also be headlined by Bryant’s contemporaries and fellow NBA legends, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.
After this amazing news, Kobe Bryant’s widow joined ESPN’s Rece Davis with her oldest daughter, Natalia, via FaceTime on Saturday and talked about the significance of the achievement. Also, she wished her husband was there to experience this unforgettable moment.
She started to talk with this:
“It’s an incredible accomplishment and honor, and we’re extremely proud of him.”
“Obviously we wish that he was here with us to celebrate,”
She finished her statement with this:
“We’re incredibly proud of him. And there’s some solace in knowing that he was probably going to be a part of the 2020 Hall of Fame class.”
