In a recent interview, Woody Harrelson spoke about how he spent his time during the lockdown, how the film shootings were going, and also he mentioned the climate emergency video he shot with Billie Eilish in September.
The video was about the earth. They stated that it is warming up and the oceans are rising. They point out that as a result of climate change there are natural disasters and many people are losing their lives because of it. They also argue that increased forest fires in the Amazon and California are caused by this climate change. In the video, they invite everyone to unite and raise their voices for change.
Commenting on his time with Billie Eilish, Harrelson stated that the two have something in common. Both artists are fans of Dapper Dan and they both wore Dapper Dan outfits to the set. Harrelson, who spoke highly of Eilish’s character and family, said that it is difficult for a person with such a reputation to be so calm and centred.
Here’s what he said:
“We both love [fashion designer] Dapper Dan – and we both coincidentally wore Dapper Dan outfits to the set! I really liked Billie, it’s incredible how calm she is. To be that profoundly popular and to be as centred as she is…
I really credit her family because she’s with her brother and her parents all the time. They’re a tight family and they’ve not let all this incredible success dictate who they are – which does happen a lot of the time.”
