The actor, Zach Braff, is among those people who became fond of the most talked about series of recent times ‘The Queen’s Gambit,’ and on his Twitter account, he shared which chess player he loved the most that played against invincible genius, Beth.
The Queen’s Gambit, which can be considered as the best quality production of Netflix, has become one of the most-watched productions of 2020. It’s about a girl, who is a chess prodigy, uses her intelligence in an area dominated by men and puts it in a striking way.
On Friday, Zach Braff announced on his Twitter that he wanted to hug one of the player’s Beth played chess with during the tournaments. The chess player’s name is Luchenko and he is one of the strong and the oldest opponents that Beth plays against. However, their scene is a little bit different because it leaves an emotional impact on the viewers.
While Beth tries to prove herself in a field dominated by men, Luchenko is among the rare names who truly appreciate Beth’s success with his distinctive attitude towards her.
Actor Zack Braff must have been impressed by this situation that he wanted to write on Twitter that while everyone in the series is being very cold towards Beth, seeing kindness and respect from a character like Luchenko made the scene special.
Here’s what he wrote on Twitter:
“I wish I could hug this guy. I think it’s because everyone is so cold to her. And then she finally encounters kindness and respect. He was so kind. Kindness is so moving these days.”
