Zack Snyder‘s original Justice League, which fans were eagerly awaiting after the disappointment of the theatrical release of Justice League, directed by Joss Whedon and released in 2017, was heralded that the release of it will be on HBO Max in 2021.
New information continues to come about The Snyder Cut, one of which was the surprise announcement that the additional shootings will be only 4 or 5 minutes. Also, in the Snyder version Superman’s black suit and Darkseid will be returning.
Another element that excited the fans was that Jared Leto’s Joker will also be on the Justice League team. Sharing his opinion on this, director Zack Snyder explained that this was not actually part of the plan, but that he always had the Joker cast in his mind. Snyder did not forget to thank the fans who contributed to the realization of all this.
Here’s Snyder’s statement:
“No. No, he wasn’t. There was a few things that I had thought about doing that I had thought about grabbing in post. There was a number of things I had drawn – a couple of them, I wasn’t able to do, but it’s fine. I’m completely satisfied.
But this was one of the things that in the years since I’ve kind of boiled on and kind of said, like, this would be a cool thing to do. I’ll be honest, I never thought the opportunity would come, and thanks to the fans, of course, and this whole journey, it’s happened, which is insane.”
In addition, it is not known how much Leto’s Joker will take place in the scenes to be shot, while a trailer that can eliminate the questions in the minds of the audience will be released in the next week and we will see how different The Snyder Cut is.
